Visit Your Mallory Ancestors
Many cultures have the tradition of visiting the graves of their ancestors. Famously, Mexico has the Day of the Dead, which has crossed the border and is often incorporated into the celebration of Halloween in the States. The U.S. also has Memorial Day, which focuses on those who served in the military, while Japan has the Obon festival, and China has the Hungry Ghost festival, to name just a few. These celebrations may include offerings of food, flowers, fires or candles, and family gatherings.
